Taking time over an image
Lots of people say they don’t like having their photo taken. Often, nobody has ever given them the time. A session is exactly that time.
In our Lausanne studio, we have backdrops, lighting and a screen to see the images as they are taken. You see what works, we adjust together, and we go again.
If you prefer to be outdoors, we head to the lakeside, the old town or the mountains. For yourself, as a gift, for your work, or as a couple or family.

The first few minutes are for relaxing. The good images come once you forget the camera.

A pale backdrop, coloured light, black and white: we try several moods during the session.

A pose in motion, a hand to the face, a laugh. You don’t need to know how to pose: we guide you.

Outfits, props, ideas for images: we talk it all through beforehand so you arrive feeling relaxed.

We take our time. You then receive a private gallery with your retouched photographs.
Your questions
I don’t like having my photo taken. Is that a problem?
Not at all, it is very common. We guide you step by step, and in the studio the screen lets you see the images as we go.
What should I bring?
Two or three outfits you feel good in, and an object if you like: an instrument, a hat, a jacket. We will advise you before the session.
Studio or outdoors?
The studio lets us play with backdrops and lighting. Outdoors brings in the lake, the old town or the mountains. The two combine very well.
Can I give a session as a gift?
Yes, a photo session makes a lovely present. Write to us and tell us who it is for: we will prepare a tailored quote.
Can I use the portraits for my work?
Yes, for a website, a profile or your social media.
