A short moment, images for a long time
A christening goes by quickly. A few minutes in the church or chapel, then the family gathers, often outdoors, around a table. That is exactly what you will want to see again one day.
There are two of us: a photographer and a videographer who are used to working together. During the service, we stay in the background and never get in the officiant’s way. Afterwards, we follow the children, the godparents and everyone who matters.
A first communion gets the same care: the moment in church, then the celebration, with nothing staged.

Your questions
Can you take photos during the service?
Usually, yes, as long as we stay discreet. Every place has its own customs: we talk them through with you beforehand, and during the service we never get in the officiant’s way.
Do you also cover first communions?
Yes. The day is very similar: the service, then a family celebration. We adapt the package to your plans.
What if the children don’t want to pose?
We hardly ask anything of them. We let them play and photograph what happens. The best images often come about that way.
Some of our family don’t speak French. What do you suggest?
We can subtitle the speeches in the film in other languages, or translate them while keeping the speaker’s own voice.
Do you travel outside Lausanne?
Yes, throughout French-speaking Switzerland: Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel. Further afield too, on request.
